Thirsty

When i get really thirsty at the park, my daddy lifts me up so i can drink out of the water fountain like a big boy! sis was home yesterday and part of today and that was great! she copied a bunch of pics and video for us, but now the dvd isn't reading :( hopefully soon! meantime, here's me drinking out of the water fountain with my Daddy,

Going to the Park

I always knew I liked going to the park. Since Dad retired, I get to go everyday, and since Mom ws off work for the summer we've all been going a lot. Reasons I like going to the park:
1. you get to ride in the car
2. you get to smell new things
3. you get to expand your territory
4. there are more squirrels and chipmunks at the park
5. lots of trees
6. you get to ride in the car again

As it turns out, I like going to the park too! I still HATE riding in the car, but once I get there it is grreat! I get to run all around and meet kids and other dogs, I get to pee over top of everythin Akira pees on, and my Daddy lifts me up to drink out of the human water fountain! It's grreat! The car ride back home is never as bad, and when we get home I get to take a nice little nap.

Akira Rides to the Park

Today I got to go for a car ride. The ride to the kennel and the ride to one of the parks is exactly the same until you get to a certain stop light, then you turn left to the kennel or right to the park. So I was paying close attention until we made it past the light. Turns out we (Mom and me) were going to the park to walk with Mom's friend from work. Mom said she noticed my whole body tense up, then relax when the car turned right. I generally do not mind the kennel, but Shiro wasn't with me, and it is hard to sleep there with all the catching up we do with the other dogs. We tend to carry on all night over there. The park was a nice excursion today. And I always love a nice car ride (well, the 5 1/2 hr drive between Ohio and Maryland I used to go one was a little much). I don't know why Shiro gets so nervous riding in the car. He's ridden since he was a pup, but has never grown to like it any more. I find it exciting when we drive new places, and when we are at familiar areas, I am able to relax and let the car movement rock me to sleep. Speaking of sleep, it's almost midnight, so Shiro and I are going to call it a night. We are not sure what happened to the snow dog pictures...we found some more, but none as good as those. We'll look more though...

Our Trip to the Park!

Today we went to the Park. There is a big Creek there and a pond and streams, too. Also, there are bridges and old buildings and lots and lots of TREES! It was a beautiful sunny day until we got to the Park...then it was cloudy and overcast, but we still had fun! Here are some pictures that Sis took! Mommy took us to the park, and walked us around a lot! Sis walked us too, when she wasn't documenting the adventure with photos!
